Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support the Finance Lead in managing the financial responsibilities of the Sodexo contract with Microsoft for the EMEA region, with potential support to additional regions as advised. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the global financial and commercial performance of the contract, ensuring value delivery to both the client and Sodexo. The position is part of the Sodexo international Finance team, with team members in different countries.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake activities outside of the job description to ensure the overall service satisfaction. We are committed to delivering innovative solutions to meet client expectations and uphold our business ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Director in month-end close, bottom-up forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide support for contract set-up and site financial systems, including client invoicing and overdue debt follow-up.
- Develop a strong working relationship with key stakeholders on the contract, including the Real Estate Finance team, Client Portfolio Manager, and Sodexo Microsoft Account teams.
- Assist in resolving overdue debt issues with Credit Management Teams, Site Teams, and client teams.
- Play an integral role during the Sodexo / Microsoft month-end process, ensuring the utilization of relevant sources of information and systems.
- Produce monthly financial results for the Sodexo contract for Microsoft.
- Review and analyze site performance and provide meaningful commentary following Microsoft month-end regarding variances to client budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to strategic planning and strengthen Sodexo's commercial finance abilities.

- A contract for 40 hours per week (working days from Monday to Friday), parttime possibility can be discussed;

Qualifications:
- Secondary vocational education degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English speaking a must have, Dutch preferred
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
